Miss Thang is a GOLDEN GIRL

We are so proud of our Sweet Caraline making the Tyler Golden Girl Drill Team! She worked so hard over the last four years at Dance N Drill and all the while her goal was to make that drill team. She was so nervous... she wanted so badly to be on a Kick Line and she made the Kick Team too!  She already has her sight set on becoming officer 8th and 9th grade years so she is more than prepared to be on her HS team <3 p="">

Roar! Christian's Four!

His party was Dinomite! Little man was so excited to have over friends and family to help celebrate his 4th birthday... complete with Dinosaur Egg cake pops, Jurassic Jello, veggies for herbivores and dino nuggets w/ wings for the carnivores. We can't believe how fast he's grown, but we have loved every hilarious moment with his precious soul in our family.

Out with the Pink, In with the New

Bathroom renos SUCK, but water was coming up under the master bath shower into the guest bath... so, it had to be done. We were actually pretty excited to finally get rid of the awful pink and horrible stick down floor tiles. After several weekends and SEVERAL more dollars than we anticipated, we were so happy to be done with it all. Pretty excited about the final product too!

Caleb Auditions at The Voice!

Caleb and Drew went on a father-son road trip to Memphis, Tennessee so he could audition for NBC's The Voice... he had such a great time last year when we all traveled to Little Rock for American Idol's last summer auditions. He wanted to see what The Voice was about.  He performed Hozier's "Work Song" with more than soul than ever before. It was a really great experience for him and they had a lot of fun exploring Memphis's live music and BBQ!

New Years Eve with the Besties

Year after Year, we spend New Year's Eve with our favorite friends at the Hogg Hullabaloo... always an epic night filled with laughter, LCR, and raffle prizes. Amazing memories with Amazing people :)

Four Christmases

Simply having a Wonderful Christmas Time: Christmas Eve was spent with Poppa & Gigi and the Dudleys... Also enjoyed a relaxing lazy Christmas day with just our Party of Five.  Made it to a special day at Lala's and then saw some Ottes at Grandpa Dana's!

Caraline in "Lost Boys"

So proud of all the hard work and dedication Caraline put into One Act Play this year... she got to play one of Neverland's Lost Boys in the "Lost Boys" play along with her friends, Jake and Kinsey. Such a wonderfully magic production put on by the middle school!

Thankful for these Turkeys

We loved getting to join Christian at his pre-school for a yummy Thanksgiving lunch... we then spent the weekend in Gilmer at our annual Thanksmas with Drew's family (minus Caraline who was busy at theater practice for her One Act Play competition).

I absolutely fell in love with these Hansel and Gretel costumes that Caraline and Christian wore for Halloween... had fun Trick or Treating with the Dudleys and hanging out at their place afterwards with Poppa and Gigi <3 p="">

Caraline was inspired to be Gretel, after portraying her in the district-wide school talent show. So she was able to talk Christian into dressing up with her for Halloween!

Christian loves loves loves going to HS football games, but running through the tunnel and meeting the bulldog (at Homecoming) made his night!

American Idol!

Caleb was so excited to get to try out for American Idol in Little Rock... we really loved the weekend with the older two.  Downtown was a ton of fun!  We also came home with a new addition to the family, Miss Jade.  She is our new Maine Coon who can never replace our beloved Jagger and Jackson; however, we were so excited to bring home our sweet little black kitty-kat.  Summer was awesome!
